Replace Roku device

 

I have an existing Roku Ultra device.

I have ordered a replacement Roku Ultra which has been upgraded....

I will be giving my old unit to my daughter...

 

1. How do I delete all information which is in my old unit ?

2. How does my daughter install my old unit at her home..

3. Will I have any conflicts with installing the new unit?

4. Will I have any additional problems?

1) Factory reset the device:  Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Factory reset

Remove the device from your account:  https://my.roku.com/account  (should be gone after factory reset)

2) She goes through the setup process when she turns it on, including creating a Roku account or adding this device to her current Roku account

4) Dont know
