ROKU Express and HULU - repeatedly have to authenticate to HULU

I recently upgraded to ROKU Express (from ROKU 1) - did so because Prime Video will cease to work on ROKU 1 in November 2021.  Had no issues with HULU on the ROKU 1.  After setting up ROKU Express I have to sometimes have to reenter my login for HULU.  Sometimes it works without having to login.  I checked for recent updates but it has not fixed the issue. More of an annoyance than a real issue but I should not have to relogin after original setup.

That is something that you normally would not have to do.

Go to https://secure.hulu.com/account and log in.

Scroll down to Manage Devices and remove any that you no longer use.

Then, on your Roku, remove the Hulu app, restart the Roku, then reinstall the Hulu app. All three steps in that order. When you launch and log in, see if the login is remembered.

Note that you may have to log in to other Roku devices (if you have any) after you do this.
