Question about linking a channel or app to my cable provider (Verizon)

When I try to access Hallmark TV on Roku, I'm asked to sign in to my Verizon account. (We get internet and very basic cable via Verizon.) Does that mean that Verizon will bill me for use of Hallmark TV? Thanks.

If it's currently part of your cable package, there should be no additional charge. If you don't already have access to the channel, I don't think it will accept your Verizon credentials to log in. It does reach out to your provider to ensure you have access to their channel.
