Problem activating STARZ

Hi,
I am trying to watch STARZ but Roku is only allowing me to activate by RokuPay instead of directing me to activate through my local tv provider.
I have activated before and I don’t have this problem with HBOgo.
Thank you for your help.

That's something Starz has chosen to do. 

Note that HBO has two separate apps: HBO GO which is used to authenticate a cable/satellite HBO subscription, and HBO NOW which is the standalone service. The same app doesn't do both with HBO, and it seems Starz has chosen to support only one of these methods. It's on Starz, not Roku.

I was thinking that at first but STARZ is currently running on my iPad and also on my Samsung smartTV in the same house.
Also the message is coming from Roku.
