Pluto TV version 5.4 issues

I downloaded the Pluto tv app and cannot find any information on how to login. The show I want to watch does not show up when I manually scroll through all the shows. I downloaded the Pluto app on my phone and made an account and added the show to my watchlist. I’ve looked on here and on Pluto’s sorry excuse for a help page and have come up empty on how to log in to my Pluto account on the app for my TCL Roku tv. The only info I did find on Pluto’s website said to go to channel 2 to log in but I can’t even get there either. Really bummed because I’ve heard so many good things about Pluto tv and my experience thus far has been piss poor. The fact that there’s nowhere to login under settings and the lack of a search feature completely baffles me
