Both ESPN and CCN channels say 'this channel is not part of your TV package" even though it definitely is...on the ESPN app you can even check your subscription and mine clearly says I'm subscribed. Yet I can't watch anything....anyone else? Seems to be a lot of issues like this with Roku. BTW I've tried logging in/out of my ESPN account. Tried disconnecting from WIFI, connecting through my phone. Tried re-booting Roku and tried on two different Rokus. GRRRR.
I seem to recall seeing there have been authentication issues with DirecTV (as opposed to DirecTV Now) from time to time on some apps. You could try removing the app, restarting the Roku, adding the app again, then trying to re-authenticate.
