POWERDVD 19 NOT ABLE TO CAST TO POWERDVD APP ON ROKU ULTRA

I recently purchase the Roku Ultra.  My Powerdvd worked fine with my older Roku, but for some reason with the Roku Ultra the Powerdvd app won't open.  I've removed the app and reinstalled it still won't open.  I am still able to cast to my older Roku box.

Could be your Rokus are running different software versions. You can check this on each of them via Settings > System > About.

Power DVD 19 unable to cast to roku. Does anyone have a solution

I am having an issue with Power DVD 19 casting to my roku. It worked before but has stopped. When I attempt to cast it connects then stops and  returns to home screen. Does anyone have a solution to this issue. Please post if so.

Re: POWERDVD 19 NOT ABLE TO CAST TO POWERDVD APP ON ROKU ULTRA

There is definitely an issue between the Roku Ultra and Power DVD 19. I have two units of the Roku Ultra and two Apple TV units (one is a first-generation unit and the other one is the latest generation). I have NO problems at all with the Apple TV units (even the older one) when I play movies with Power DVD.

I get choppy video with the Roku units, especially when using Power DVD's "video and audio enhancement" features.

I suspect it has something to do with the processor capacity in the Roku units. If you downgrade to a less demanding (less quality) video player, you will have no issues with Roku.
