PLAYBACK FUBAR after system software update 9/15/21

JUUUST pulled down new updates for Roku Express over wireless.  I noticed@Danny_R said Roku reps were aware of a snafu someplace, but the issue isn't  with calling up.channels; it is with channel PLAYBACK, itself!  IDA and Nicholas just went through Mississippi, and Weathernation loaded slower than Christmas in June (Or, Molasses in January, take ya pick!).  What the heckin' melluvahess is going on, here???  HALP!?

Thanks for the post.

Can you please clarify the issue you are experiencing? Is the issue you are seeing only happening on a specific channel or does it happen across all channels? 

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing? Please keep us posted what you find out.

After doing nothing for two days, playback resolved itself.  Whew!   FWIW, future software updates should not result in channel playback snafu's....
