My account is set up with "A PIN is not required to make any purchase or add any items from the Channel Store." I've never had a PIN for Roku. But when I try to add a channel (HBO Max) a PIN is required. Can't get past that. Suggestions?
PS: disappointing that when you try to email support, you get signed up for a newsletter and nothing else.
Make sure the email address that shows up under Settings->System->About matches the email address you used to log into https://my.roku.com . The only other suggestion is to restart/reboot your Roku to see if it helps.
