PBS channel

PBS channel will sometimes show and sometimes I cannot watch, says "unavailable in your area." Not consistently unavailable. Does anyone know why it's not availablele all the time like other free channels?

For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact PBS support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

Thanks Mary.  But that still doesn't help me get that PBS station because the problem is with the station I learned. PBS says they are working on it.

I have the same problem. I called my local PBS outlet and they said the problem lies with Roku. I was streaming PBS live just fine until this week.  How can I ask Roku about this???

@kaon   Check out this thread.

"We have submitted a fix to Roku to release on all devices, and Roku has told us they’ll publish this fix tomorrow, December 16 at 1 PM ET.

Once the fix is published and reaches your Roku, your Roku should automatically update and you’ll be able to immediately watch the livestream. Roku doesn’t release the fix to all Roku at the same time, so you may need to wait another 24-48 hours to receive the update after 1 PM ET on December 16."
