Olympics live using Peacock+?

Jump to solution

Will I be able to watch the Olympics live using my Peacock+ subscription, or will they be shown the following day? (They'll be on NBC)

If not, is there a way I can watch them (without paying a big chunk out of my meager SS) using Roku?

I don't have TV other than Roku.

Thanks in advance for knowledgeable answers...

Thats entirely up to NBC and needs to be asked/addressed to them.

That being said:  https://nbcsportsgrouppressbox.com/2021/04/20/tokyo-olympics-are-coming-to-peacock/

New York, N.Y. – April 20, 2021 – Peacock and NBC Olympics today announced that the Tokyo Olympics are coming to Peacock, with four live studio shows every day that will allow fans to catch-up and keep up on the must-see moments of the Summer Games. Beginning July 24, the day after the Opening Ceremony, the four shows will stream for free on Tokyo NOW, Peacock’s channel for live coverage, highlights, interviews, and the best stories of the Games.

Peacock’s Olympic coverage will start the day with Tokyo LIVE, including live competition, from 6-11 a.m. ET, followed by Tokyo Gold, which will review the competition day from 11 a.m. – noon p.m. ET. Tokyo is 13 hours ahead of the Eastern Daylight Time. Coverage resumes in the evening with On Her Turf at the Olympics, a program focused on female athletes, from 7-7:30 p.m. ET, and concludes in primetime with the highlight-packed Tokyo Tonight, from 7:30 p.m. – midnight ET. The evening programs will air one hour earlier on Sundays. All studio content is produced by NBC Olympics.

Of course, this all depends on whether there will be any Olympics to air...
