They do have an HLS stream, but it's broken at the moment.

Nowhereman, you the man.

Just curious, is it possible to add these channels? Us tampa bay based users do appreciate it!

These channels don't stream content (at least I can't see where they do).

To find out if an item can be added to Nowhere TV check it out using this page.

Re: Nowhere TV

Sorry to ask a noob question on this but at 85 pages it's a lot to go through.

I just got my Roku 2 XS yesterday and I'm thrilled so far. I found NowhereTV pretty quickly and added it. However, there's a ton in there and I'd like to get some of the channels out and onto the main page by themselves and leave NowhereTV as a bucket to check every so often.

Is it simple to get those items out?

My main issue is I'm not at all interested in audio podcasts so if I'm interested in something I want to put it in a much more accessible area.

I also watched some 60 Minutes segments yesterday and found it very confusing. I suspect this is due to the way 60 Minutes is presented on the web? I watched what I thought was the TV segment on "Face Blindness" but then found other segments that seemed to be excerpts that were supersets of what I saw. Also, in several snippets the video seems to start up a few moments after it actually would have on TV (Lesley Stahl in mid-paragraph).

You can just pick "Add to favorites" when you have a podcast/video feed/whater ready to play and when you first start up NowhereTV it will take you to a row with the favorites you made up. Then there is a leanback mode that will just play that content like a tv channel.

Yup, it is the way CBS/60 minutes has it broken out - full segment, then snippets of that segment, and outtakes/extended clips. Weird, to be sure - but just be happy that now you can just watch the segments you want without having to watch the whole show Smiley Happy

Re: Nowhere TV

Hi again -

I've got three live feeds to ask you about: http://www.11alive.com/video/live/default.aspx -- http://www.11alive.com/video/live_4/default.aspx -- http://www.11alive.com/video/wiztv/default.aspx

The first one carries a couple of our newscasts plus other live content (breaking news types of things) as they happen; The second is similar, but used less often (it's primarily my overflow live feed channel). The third is our 24/7 live weather channel.

They're all generated by Brightcove, so I would presume that it would work, but either way, thanks for trying.

There's already some WLS content in the Local section.

Re: Nowhere TV

Hi guys, I just registered a few minutes ago, just to be able to make a small donation and to say thank you for this awesome channel called NowhereTV. I love those feeds from CBS and the other U.S. networks. Keep up the good work.

Here's one thing: I love watching "60 minutes" and "48 hours". Just right next to those, there's the "Letterman Show" icon. When I click on it, there's only a selection of news clips... no Letterman. The icon does not coincide with the content. Something's wrong, because two weeks ago, it was working just fine. Could you pls fix it?

Thank you very much!
