Re: A Couple New Channels with More to Come

Would it be possible to add this to the Religious section:
Tokens Radio Show (direct link)
http://feeds.feedburner.com/TokensRadioShowPodcast
(website)
http://podcast.tokensshow.com/

Their XML is not really podcast-friendly (despite the name) and I can't seem to get most of their enclosures to show up in iTunes. They're referencing their .m4v files in their feed, but not with the enclosure tags.

Also:
Mosaic church (direct link)
http://mosaic.org/podcast/videofeed/
(website)
http://mosaic.org/podcast/

Also:
Woodland Hills Church - Greg Boyd:

That's a very screwy feed. If it's not a valid podcast, Pod TV can't use it.

That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure. I told them they needed to fix their feed... but it still hasn't happened.

Hi,

Would it be possible to add the Prelinger Archives to the Archive.org section? I really enjoy watching the Ephemeral Films in that archive.

http://www.archive.org/details/prelinger

Thanks!

Bob

can do

That was quick. Thank you so much for what you are doing.

I should have done a little more homework about exactly what I wanted. The actual RSS feed for what I was looking for is http://www.archive.org/details/prelinger. You may or may not want to keep the "Ephemeral" pick you added earlier. Maybe call the new one Prelinger. Will 2,146 videos create a problem?

Sorry for me not doing my homework first. Thanks again for your great work!

That's what you got. The RSS feed on that page is http://www.archive.org/services/collect ... =prelinger and that's what you now see in Pod TV. The feed for any given collection only includes the most recently added titles.

Re: A Couple New Channels with More to Come

Darn. I was hoping it would show all videos. Smiley Happy It's still a great feed. I've already watched two videos from what you put up there. Great!

Re: A Couple New Channels with More to Come

Glad you got NBC - CBS -ABC but what about the FOX NEWS CHANNEL ?
Would be nice to see Bill O'Reilly, Greta Van Susteren and even Glen Beck besides Morning Joe and Keith Olbermann.

I would pay money for the fox news channel. hope they are listening. i have emailed fox news about this. keeping my fingers crossed...

Re: A Couple New Channels with More to Come

My complaint about PodTV continues to be that navigating is slow, due to its loading titles for each category as you scroll through categories. If you want to quickly navigate to a specific category that is deep in the list, you have to wait a couple seconds per category before you can advance. I know you are experimenting here with a unique interface and don't want to look like everyone else, but I'd rather have to click through a category to see its contents.

I'm nothing but grateful for all you've brought to the platform and just offering this as feedback.

On the order of the internet radio application; police scanner applications seem to be proliferating on the iPhone, I wonder if that might be something easily brought to this platform.

http://www.radioreference.com/ This seems to be the database that drives those scanner apps.

This isn't an important app to me, just an idea.
