No ITV or Channel 4 player in UK

I can't see either the ITV player or the Channel 4 player so I can't load them. I'm in the UK and they are advertised as being available.

Are you connecting via an IP located somewhere other than the UK?
Was your Roku account created via an IP located somewhere other than the UK?

@Honzad

Thanks for the post.

It sounds like you may have created a Roku account that isn't located in your current region. If channels in your region are not available, it may indicate that your device is linked to an account that was created in a different region where that channel may not be offered by the channel provider. You'll want to make sure that you are using an internet connection located in the correct region when creating your account. You can check your IP address' reported location by visiting www.whatismyip.com - If you see an issue, you'll need to contact your ISP to help resolve any issue.

We would recommend creating a new Roku account in your region. For more information about how to create a new account, visit our Support page here: How do I create a Roku® account? Once your new account is set up, try to perform a factory reset on your device and link it to your new account. For more information about how to perform a factory reset, visit our Support page here: How do I factory reset my Roku® streaming device?

Please keep us posted.

Thanks,
Danny

Re: No ITV or Channel 4 player in UK

Thanks. I created my account in Thailand where I bought my first Roku device. Then I moved to England bringing it with me and also buying a new one for a second TV. Therefore the original IP address was in Thailand but my current one is in the UK. From reading the links you send it seems I have to delete my account, do a factory reset on both devices and then start again - in that order.

Before I do that, is that right?

Thanks for your help,

John

@Honzad

Thanks for the inquiry.

The order of the steps doesn't really matter as long as you create a new Roku account in the proper region and perform a factory reset and use the appropriate Roku account.

Thanks,
Danny

Re: No ITV or Channel 4 player in UK

When I try to set up a new account it will not accept my postcode or phone number - keeps coming up with a red message asking to put valid information in - but these ARE correct!

Re: No ITV or Channel 4 player in UK

Put in an old American zip code - and it worked! Now everything is there. Thanks.
