I bought a new Roku, What a mistake. Couldn't Roku give us an option to use the older Netflix interface instead of this irritating mess. The older interface was functional. This new interface is not.
I have to move really fast to avoid the auto-preview, and god forbid I forget to hit Mute.
Then in searching for a solution, I read Netflix representatives bragging how wonderful the auto preview is, and how they are pushing it out to Iphones?
Has anyone figured out a way to block this, other than never buying a new ROKU?

I did call Netflix, and I did sign the petition. Then I posted here.
Roku is a huge base for netflix. They could request an option for a Netflix Classic to be available in the Roku store.
Roku might be able to give us a setting that request the older version when connecting to the store. Imagine how fast Netflix would load on newer hardware if it loaded software made for a ROKU 1.
This is the 4th time I have upgrade my roku box, starting from the day that Netflix became a streaming service, and roku was only a Netflix streaming device. This is the first time I was unhappy with what roku allowed to happen to the roku experience.

Please Note: This page has long ago surpassed our 5-page rule we've recently adopted. I'll be closing this thread down Saturday afternoon. If you still wish to provide feedback about this feature, feel free to start a new thread (be sure to link the old thread in the original post).
I'll add a link to the new thread when this thread is closed out. I won't be doing that tonight, so as to let everyone prepare for the new thread.

Could you guys work with Netflix to at least fix the auto previews and Roku’s refresh rate switching feature so the screen doesn’t flash black every time a preview plays when you select a new show/movie? It works perfectly on Apple TV.
Thx.
There is an option to turn off AUTOPLAY PREVIEWS ON ALL DEVICES now in PLAYBACK SETTINGS if you access your Netflix account via web browser.
