Help & troubleshooting for channels on your Roku device, including adding/removing channels, logging in to, authenticating, or activating a channel, channel-specific playback issues, assistance contacting channel publishers to report issues, and adjusting channel-specific settings.
We have a new TCL #75S535, connected via Ethernet cable. We originally had Amazon Prime, Netflix, YoutubeTV, and other channels installed. One day Prime wouldn’t load, so we followed guidance and removed numerous channels including Prime, perform system restarts, and reload. Recently Netflix wouldn’t load, so we followed the same procedure. Now we are getting the Netflix “channel install failed” message. We have done a system reset, cut power for a minute, confirmed software update, and confirmed internet connectivity. The “channel install failed” error continues each time we attempt to re-add Netflix. It’s ridiculous, as if some software glitch is preventing the cache from clearing. Are there any current solutions
I don't know if it works on TVs, but you can try to clear the cache. Using your remote, press Home 5 times, Up once, Rewind (<<) twice, and FF (>>) twice. If you do it correctly it will appear to lock up and then reboot.
