Netflix HDR issues after latest update 8.1

Im having a strange issue with HDR Netflix playback on my Roku Ultra since the latest update. When I initially play a show with HDR in Netflix HDR kicks in as expected and all is good until I exit the show and attempt to watch something else. If I attempt to watch a second show with or without HDR or attempt to restart the HDR show I was just watching HDR is not recognized and all the colors look washed out. Everything was working fine before the update so not sure what changed. If I go back to settings and select 4K HDR 60hz It seems to reset it and HDR is again recognized.. that is until I exit a show and the process starts all over again.

Anyone else having this issue or any suggestions on a possible work around?
