I currently have dish and am no longer to view a local channel which is nbc . I bought the roku stick to be able to watch nbc live tv. When I try to watch it, it asks me who my provider is, once i put in my provider I am unable to watch nbc or the local nbc channel. What do I do?

Thanks for the post.

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.

Does this clear up the issue you are seeing?
