It shows the resume & play from beginning options, but they don't do anything.

Did you ever figure that out? We were watching "How do you know?" Saturday night, and the movie stopped with 15 or 20 minutes to go and wouldn't resume. I finally started the movie over and fast forwarded until I got to where we wanted to resume...and that worked, but it's not a good solution.
(I think we were watching it on the Roku channel, we're newbies.)

I'm new at this so I responded by email too Mary. It has happened twice, both times on the Roku Channel. The first time when we were watching How do you Know? last Saturday night, and the last time Sunday night when we were watching Music and Lyrics (I think that's the right title).

Try removing the channel from the Roku home screen by navigating to the channel tile, pressing the * key on your remote and choosing 'Remove channel'. Then restart your device from Settings>System>System restart. Once your player starts up again, add the channel back once more.
