Most TV land movies in very low def, not even dvd quality?

I have a problem with TV land-free movies.  Resolution on almost all the films seems to be below broadcast low def,  Once upon a time in the west looks 720/1080 which I am totally happy with.  But most other movies play below the picture quality of over the air low def.  The movies lack any sharpness and are blurry.  What is the deal with this?

TV Land is available on Roku through Philo, Sling TV with Comedy Extra, Vidgo, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, and AT&T TV. Which service are you using to watch TV Land? If all the other channels via your service are good, you may want to reach out to your service.
