MPEG2 direct stream and ROKU Stick 3800X

I'm seeing pixelation problems on my ROKU Sticks when I try to use direct stream MPEG2 with my PLEX setup.  Works fine with my Ultra.  I have plenty of bandwidth (test shows 90MBps) and solid signal.

If I set it to transcode to H264 the picture is fine.  All devices are newest versions for 2018.

Re: MPEG2 direct stream and ROKU Stick/Stick+

Not certain which Stick you have, but my Stick (3600) doesn't support MPEG2 direct streaming. My Ultra 4640 does, and I know from experience the latest Premiere 3920 does. I believe it's only the latest 4K players that support it, but Roku has never publicly acknowledged which players can now play MPEG2.

As of the OS9 release they do officially support MPEG2 (at least on the models I have, some older models I've read no).  As mentioned. it's the latest Stick (3800X).  I mistakenly included the Stick+ in the title and will see if I can edit that out.
