Locast has expanded the markets where it's available, and I got it working on my PC. I put the Locast channel on my Rokus, but it doesn't work. When I select my city and the guide comes up, I get an error message when selecting a station, indicating that I still need to select my city, even though I've already done it. Anyone have the Locast channel working on their Roku?

As it's not available in my area, I can't speak to several aspects of the app. However, a standard troubleshooting procedure for issues such as you're reporting would be:
- Delete the app
- Reboot the Roku
- Reinstall the app
Those steps must be done in that order to ensure any corrupt data is removed.
Not saying that'll fix it, but it is a best practices first step when troubleshooting odd app behavior.
Problems for some unresolved.
roku shows isp address that is not where we are actually located. Isp uses an address that bounces around in nearby city which is outside dma.
so even though in dma can not use it except on ipad. The ipad shows correct address to locast.
Would be happy to donate. But since can not use it much until ISP roku problem is figured out.
affects several thousand near me due to internet providers location is not where we are located
I want to donate the monthly $5 to avoid the frequent interruptions. But I don't know how to do it from the ROKU account, and if I make the donation using a LOCAST account (which I have set up) I don't know how it will know about my ROKU account.
Hi,
Thanks for the inquiry.
For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact Locast support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
You can reach Locast support here: https://helpcenter.locast.org/portal/home
Thanks,
Danny
