I just jumped into Sling. I am in a Locast market and a subscriber. On my mac iOS devices If I open the Sling app I can see local channels in the Sling guide. If I choose a local the iOS Locast app will open. I can then use the app to view local channels. This does not hap[pen on the Roku. It seems I need to buy airtv to get the local channels. Now since have the Locast app on the Roku I could just switch back and forth between the two apps. However the handshake sort of thing that happens on the iOS devices would be helpful. I have no intentions in buying a airtv. Anyone else having this experience ?
