Is there any way to see the resolution / stream detail in Google Play?
I recently purchased a Sharp 50-inch 4K TV with integrated Roku. I just finished streaming a 4K movie (Mission Impossible 4) through Google Play, and while it looked pretty great, I would like to confirm I was watching it in 4k. Is there any way to show the detail of the video stream when in Google Play? Things such as current resolution, bitrate, bandwidth being used, etc.
Re: Is there any way to see the resolution / stream detail in Google Play?
I am only aware of two channels that have stream detail available, and that's Netflix and YouTube. Amazon used to at least indicate HD or UHD (without specific information) but even that's gone now. Perhaps there are others, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
