How can we control what ISN'T shown on the phone apps Home? 

I don't appreciate opening up my app to see inappropriate PORNOGRAPHY advertised! 

I'm freaking disgusted, and quite frankly about to chuck the Roku in the trash for it.

You literally open the app on your phone and porn pops up on the screen because “Sex next door” is a “featured” show. I would like to be able to remove that screen from showing up in general. Children use the app and it’s completely inappropriate for this content to show like that. I am extremely disappointed in Roku.

You open the app, and there's porn shows advertised. Sex shows. Inappropriate content right there on the home page!

Unless Roku introduces a way to have ratings on ads -- those are advertisements after all, and they make money selling the space or promoting their content content -- this will continue.

Unfortunately, this is a situation that occurs on all streaming platforms to some degree. You'll also find ads on Amazon Fire TV and Google/Android TV platforms. Not so much on Apple TV.

Roku isn't really any worse than most of the other platforms in this regard, but they aren't any better than them in this regard either.

This is disgusting - my kids turned on Roku to access Disney and have asked why is there a naked woman on the screen.  Really people?  This is unacceptable.  There should not be ads with naked people or any inappropriate content on a screen that anyone can access.  May be looking for a new platform.

 This is just disgusting and the fact that Roku has not responded to any of these comments shows me that they don’t give a **bleep**

Yes there was a naked woman. Demi Moore was naked in the cover of Strip Tease. Completely inappropriate for children to see as soon as they turn on the TV.
