Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

Has RTSP support been added yet?  I have some Unifi cameras that do not have a mjpeg option.  Just RTSP "proxy" via the NVR.

RTSP works if the camera has jpeg encoded rtsp stream. My guess is that Unifi cameras have just h264 stream and if that's the case, you'll can make it work only with extra hardware:

Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

I just tried for hours to add one of my two Foscam FI9803P cameras to work on this software.  Got nowhere.  Tried the Onvif, etc.  Nothing worked.  Tried editing the URL directly.  No joy.  It can "discover" the cameras in a scan but it always fails to connect.   My Chrome plugins from another 3rd party configured easily and seem to work fine.  This Roku is not working at all.  Not happy to waste money on the pro.

Re: IP Camera Viewer Basic and Pro, fresh out of the oven (ONVIF, RTSP coming soon)

Hello,
I'm trying to set my camera up with IP Camera Viewer Basic, and I was able to get the video working with the JPEG snapshot option, but I'm unable to get the PTZ control working. I suspect this is because they operate on different ports (80 for the JPEG stream, 8999 for the PTZ control). It's an ONVIF-compliant camera by JideTech. Is there any way to specify multiple ports?

Thanks!

For the PTZ to work, you need to configure the camera using ONVIF feature (ONVIF auto config button). If that doesn't work, your camera doesn't have the onvif enabled or may be some other problem. Try that and see if it works.

Is it possible to view an H.264 ip camera stream on Roku devices?

Yes, you need IP Camera viewer pro, a cheap raspberry pi and then follow this guide: https://github.com/e1ioan/rokuphp

What if you only have a Roku Streaming stick and no Raspberry Pi? Can you stream h.264 streams to the Roku device using IP Camera Viewer?

If your camera provides http live streaming, yes. If it doesn't, no.

I have the Pro version of IP Camera Viewer.  If I purchase either a Blink XT or Blink XT2 camera will I be able to view them on my Roku Stick+ ??
