IHeartRadio - no audio?!

Is anyone else having trouble with iHeartRadio?  I have a Roku 2 XD and my software version is 8.0.0 build 4128-02.

There is no audio for the radio stations on my IHeartRadio app. Their ads (new to me, I hadn't used the app in a while) play fine of course (video and audio) but then once I'm back at the station that I selected, there is no audio.  Scanning again doesn't do anything... as in, there's not even any type of indication that the scanning is going on (no spinning wheel or anything).  Pushing the play button doesn't do anything (I waited a while). I've tried it with several radio stations with the same result each time (but first I get to watch an ad each time I select a new station).  I noticed it on Christmas Day but didn't have time to post a question then.

Just checked iHeart Radio app on TCL Roku TV and the main screen splashes up and a spinning circle remains on screen. Never even get to stations to test audio. Must be a iHeart Radio service access issue.
