I used to buy HBOMax via Roku, but now purchase via another source

I used to buy HBOMax via Roku, but now purchase via another source. How can I log in to the HBOMax channel on my Roku now? I have tried resetting, removing/re-adding the channel and clearing the cashe…but I still don’t have the option to log in with different credentials…only option is to buy via Roku again.

When you removed and readded did you restart before readding?  If I choose the person in a circle icon at the top of the left menu I'm given three options:

  • Choose a plan
  • Sign in
  • Restore purchase

Are you not getting those options?
