I have lost local streaming on Paramount Plus for a week now.

Paramount Plus has not been able to fix the ability for local streaming this entire week. Can roku do anything on their end to help????

If by "local streaming" you mean streaming Live TV from local channels, its working fine for me.

Check Settings/Live TV in the P+ app - try using "check location" and see if that fixes the issue.

If not, try removing the P+ app, RESTARTing your Roku (*IMPORTANT - MUST DO THIS STEP HERE*), then adding the P+ app.

If none of that works, you'll need to contact P+:

Since the switch from CBS All Access (which worked just fine) in March 2021 to PP, everything else works fine on Paramount Plus streaming via my Roku EXCEPT I cannot stream my local CBS TV channel at all.  It constantly buffers and the audio/visual is out of sync. I have done EVERYTHING the Paramount P support technician says to do; nothing fixes the problem.  It literally is unwatchable. I did the steps mentioned above (check local TV station, location, delete the PP station and reinstall it); 

ROKU needs to do something to help us Roku users.  Now I am wondering if I should switch to a firestick.

Its all Paramount's issue to address.

Regardless, you should get a FS, if only to implement a multiplatform streaming strategy (for app carriage/compatibility/availability/functionality differences).

We are having the same problem  Paramount help suggested it was our router fault.  Replaced router with but did not solve issue.  When we contacted Paramount help again they followed same format of saying they would elevate the issue and we would be contacted by email.  It has been almost a week with no email contact.  Not excellent customer service.

I have spent weeks with Paramount Plus technician, open Help Ticket etc., a supervisor even called me. Done ALL they suggest to do; nothing fixes the problem. Everything else on PP works except I cannot stream my local CBS TV channel. Their programmers apparently cannot figure out how to make the Roku code that worked under CBS All Access work with PP. I am considering getting off Roku (since the new Roku Remote Control Pro stopped working after 6 weeks) and going to a fire stick.

Is your local channel in the San Diego area?  Are you using a Roku 3?  If so, do you think a later model would resolve the issue?

Atleast you are working with Paramount+. I can't get anyone to contact me. I've opened several tickets. It won't Livestream my local channel either. And tbh, that's the whole reason I have this app. I'm scared to delete it though since I moved over from the CBS All Access app and am being grandfathered into the new pricing structure. Im so annoyed though.

It was/is the same app, just renamed.

Removing/restarting/reinstalling the P+ app should have no bearing on your subscription, unless you need to cancel your subscription through Roku in order to remove the app (assuming you subscribed to P+ through Roku Pay).
