I have HBO through Spectrum. I installed HBO Max and it never asks me to login.

When I open HBO Max it never asks me for a login.  I can open the app, but it closes after a few seconds.  I try to navigate to the person icon at the top of the screen, but the app always closes.  It is very frustrating.  There should just be a login at the beginning of the app like all the other apps. but there isn't one.  I really want to watch HBO Max, but nothing I have tried has worked.  I uninstalled, restarted the system, then installed and that didn't change a thing.  I have created an HBO Max account on my computer and I have access to all the content so that is not the problem.  Seems like this app is just **bleep**.  Is anyone else having this problem?

For more information about that channel's features and functionality, you'll want to contact HBO Max support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

I recently installed HBO MAX on my Roku just to explore these login questions.  I have not subscribed. 

The only way I found to reach a login option was to try to play something.  It then gave me two options, to subscribe and to sign in.

I don't know about HBO MAX, but many times when you subscribe to a premium channel through a third party (like a cable or satellite provider, Roku, AT&T, Sling, etc)  that subscription isn't valid on other third party systems.  If you want to view such a premium on multiple platforms you typically must subscribe to the channel directly on the channel's website.
