Hulu skipping episodes

When finishing an episode on Hulu, the app will often mark the next episode as watched. So when I pick the show back up another day, I'm suddenly jumping forward an episode and getting spoilers. It's even to the point where if I finish an episode and hit "back" to see the full season listing instead of letting the app auto-play, I can see the next episode thumbnail is already showing as watched. Any way to fix this?
