Have to continue to login in to channels

I have a Roku 3600 Stick.

I power it from USB port on tv.

It seems quite often I have to login to channels everything I turn tv off.

Shouldn't it remember that I have authenticated to a channel previously?

Most of them are when I use my cable login.

Does your Roku have to start up each time you turn on your TV?  If so, your TV's USB port powers down when you shut down the TV (some do, some don't).  I'd think your 3600 should retain channel logins between shutdowns but apparently it is not. 

Try powering from house power via the USB power adapter that came with the Roku to keep it from powering down.  This will also start up much quicker for you.

If you don't have the Roku adapter handy, any other you have from another device should work as long as the fine print on it says it outputs at least 1 amp.
