HGTV and DIY network link provider issues

I have linked my cable provider within the HGTV and DIY Network apps. But when I attempt to watch live tv, it requires me to either sign in again or prompts me with "This content is available to viewers who receive HGTV as part of their pay TV subscription" (which I have included in mine). 

Sometimes I can log out of my linked provider and log back in, but that is so inconvenient and doesn't always resolve the issue. Seems like a glitch in the apps. Anyone else having this issue?

me, me, me!  I even bought a new Roku soundbar hoping it would solve the problem, but nope.  Have to sign out and resign in EVERY TIME!!  So frustrating!!!!!
