HGTV and DIY network link provider issues

I have linked my cable provider within the HGTV and DIY Network apps. But when I attempt to watch live tv, it requires me to either sign in again or prompts me with "This content is available to viewers who receive HGTV as part of their pay TV subscription" (which I have included in mine).

Sometimes I can log out of my linked provider and log back in, but that is so inconvenient and doesn't always resolve the issue. Seems like a glitch in the apps. Anyone else having this issue?

Re: HGTV and DIY network link provider issues

Every time I exit HGTV or DIY I have to sign out and sign back in with a new authentication code every time. Very frustrating and very inconvenient! Does anyone have resolution to this problem?

Re: HGTV and DIY network link provider issues

Hi @Wheels7777,

Thanks for the inquiry.

For more information about that channel's account authentication, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.

If you need more help with this, you can either contact the channel provider or your TV provider for more assistance. You can reach HGTV support here: https://watch.hgtv.com/general/faq

Thanks,

Mary
