HBO Max “Can’t Play Title”

So I keep getting the same error no matter what I choose to watch “Can’t play title” on HBO max. I have tried everything the troubleshooting suggest. I even cancelled my subscription so I could remove the app and reinstall it. I still get the same thing. Has anyone had this problem?

Having same issue on Onn Roku Soundbar. Have contacted support and tried the same troubleshooting steps you already completed but no dice.

I am seeing this on my onn roku sound bar. Has anyone gotten this to work?  Recent app update seems to have broken all playback.

I have Onn Roku sound bar as well. Can't Play Title is all I see. I can play titles on my smart TV, phone, and tablet. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps and still won't work on the soundbar.

Yes I called HBO Max and they try said it's Roku Soundboard issues. No matter what title keep getting the same message #smartsoundbar #hbomax

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the posts.

If you are still unable to resolve the issue, can you please provide us the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing

With more information we will be able to investigate the issue further.
