Great Courses starts anywhere but in the beginning

When I'm on the Great Courses when a new show comes on it never starts at the beginning. Always somewhere after the beginning, usually the middle.  I just have to start it over.  But why is this happening?  I'm watching it on a computer.

Uh, how does Roku figure into this? You're using a computer, and going to Great Courses to take courses. Roku isn't in the mix. Or is there some other critical piece of information that's missing and that you could share with us?
