We were given a free 1yr subscription for Disney+, but when I go to activate it on the roku only 2 options are a available; pay monthly subscription, or purchase the annual subscription. No mention or offer to activate my free offer.
Did you accidentally subscribe to the Disney+ channel through Roku Pay instead of authenticating the Disney+ channel with your Verizon account credentials?
