Solution for IPhone.

1. Download Web Video Caster app on both your Roku and iPhone.

2. Login to Facebook on the Web Video Caster app browser on your iPhone app.

3. Find the video you want to watch and play it.

4. Click the cast button in the top right corner and select your Roku TV.

Happy Casting 🙂

Holy smokes, this works pretty well.  Is this legal to use on Roku?

If it's available in the iTunes Store, and the Roku Channel store, they are official apps, and should be good.

So I made a mistake buying Roku? If I can’t watch Facebook Watch o don’t need Roku. I’ll just move my Firestick to my outdoor TV so I can watch Facebook Watch. Very disappointed in Roku so far.

You can't be disappointed with Roku simply because the channel/app you desire isn't available. Roku themselves do not create the channels offered on their platform, other than the Roku Media Player and The Roku Channel. It's up to Facebook to decide to offer a channel on Roku devices. Without permission or support from Facebook, no one can create a channel for them.

If your sole intent with your Roku purchase was for this single use, then you didn't conduct sufficient research to see if it was even available. All available channels are listed on the Roku web site, and you can search my keyword. Searching for Facebook reveals there is no such channel.

Does what work? There is no Facebook channel for Roku devices. Casting from an Android device or Windows 10 laptop is the only way to get Facebook on a Roku device.

I'm sorry...I was engrossed and should have been more specific.  I was asking if the casting worked for FB Live videos from IPhone to Roku.

Sure. Casting is simply whatever is being displayed on the one device and cast to the other. Video, audio, images, doesn't matter. But from an iPhone, you can't do it. iOS doesn't support casting to anything other than another Apple device.
