Trying to watch FOXNOW - after a few minutes it cuts off and returns to the home page - have deleted the channel and re-added, but same problem - contacted foxnow and of course they say it's a ROKU issue - any thoughts or suggestions?
Please make sure that after you uninstall the channel, you should restart your device before adding the channel back once more.
If the issue remains unresolved, I'd recommend reaching out to FOX NOW directly to report the issue and request additional support. Many channels on the Roku platform are developed and maintained by the channel provider directly, and they'll be able to best assist. If other channels are working correctly, and you only experience this issue on the FOX NOW channel (app), that is likely an indication that the issue lies within that particular channel. In these cases, the channel provider will need to investigate the issue in order to help resolve it.
Why offer something that does NOT work. FoxNow is that. I've been reading complaint after complaint about FOX. They obviously don't care or they would have addressed this problem over a year ago. Why ROKU has them in their lineup makes me nuts. Why? If it does not work don't offer the link.
I added the channel once before. Removed it and just reciently tried again to access FOXNOW. There is not NOW.
Why is this station asking me to sign in to my cable provider when it should already 'know' I am accessing the station through Roku? It is so irritating. FoxNow will allow you the priviledge of watching 60 minutes of one of their FREE OVER THE AIR shows and then it cuts off and demands that you create an account and after that it also demands that you sign in via your cable provider. Isnt the whole point of having a Roku SmartTV so you can avoid having cable? Either that station needs to be removed from Roku or it needs to stop requiring us to create additional accounts and have cable.
