Good Morning Community,
This has been an ongoing problem for several months.
I have an ESPN and Tennis Channel via my Cable Service provider (COX). I downloaded the ESPN and Tennis Channels onto my ROKU Ultra. I have attempted to register and login via the ROKU verification pages on the device. These channels repeatedly deny that I have ACCESS when I attempt to use them on my ROKU.
One peculiar irregularity with both these channels is that when I attempt to logon via my service provider (COX), the ROKU ultra does NOT allow me to put in my username and password. Instead, it states that I have successfully logged into the provider by just clicking on the COX emblem. BUT, as stated above, I CANNOT use either of these channels on my ROKU Ultra because it always states that I do not have access (Yes, I do have a COX Cable Subscription that is functional and I can access both these channels/networks on the internet with my COX username and password).
I have deleted the program, unsubscribed, restarted the device, reinstalled the program, and resubscribed as stated in previous solution posts. This does not work for me.
I believe there is a software issue with both of these channels (and possibly others). I truly hope ROKU will do something to address this issue as several others in the community have had this exact same problem.
Thank you for your help.
Gratefully,
TJ Little
Thanks for the post.
For more information about that channel's functionality, you'll want to contact the channel provider support directly to inquire further. Many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves.
