Do I need cable to watch lifetime movies?

I activated and registered for the lifetime account. It asked me for my tv provider which I don’t have because I don’t have cable, but I did enter my internet provider and it accepted that. It is letting me watch lifetime tv series, but when I click on any movie it keeps saying “you are not authorized to view this content” Is this because I need cable to watch this or is there a fix?

What do I do if I don't have a TV provider?

You can still watch full episodes and web exclusives to many of your favorite shows without signing in if you don't currently have a TV provider.

So I guess you're seeing what they let you see when you don't get their channel through some provider.
