Disney + unable to download

I  have a Roku express and I've been trying to find and download Disney plus for a while now. It won't let me download it and on my computer, I can't find it at all. Please help.

Re: Disney + unable to download

Where do you live? Disney only offers D+ on Roku in a few locations, such as the US, Canada and the UK. While D+ might be available in other countries, it isn't available on Roku devices.

Re: Disney + unable to download

Yes, in that case it is puzzling. If you go to the Canadian Roku web site, can you find in in their channel search page? If it shows there, you should be able to add it to your account, and it will appear on the player when next updated.

When I go to the website the add channel button is Grey. I've tried on every device. I'm not sure why it's doing thisScreenshot_20200418_163113_com.android.chrome.jpg

Re: Disney + unable to download

My last guess is if you are using a VPN. Roku has a policy against their use, mainly to not permit bypassing regional restrictions. If your Roku account was created in another country, either via VPN or simply because you were elsewhere at the time, that too could explain the button being grayed out.

You'll need to work with the Roku forum admin @RokuDanny-R when they are next available. Most likely that's Monday, but they do occasionally show up on weekends.

@Garden234

It sounds like you may have created a Roku account that isn't located in your current region. If channels in your region are not available, it may indicate that your device is linked to an account that was created in a different region where that channel may not be offered by the channel provider. You'll want to make sure that you are using an internet connection located in the correct region when creating your account. You can check your IP address' reported location by visiting www.whatismyip.com - If you see an issue, you'll need to contact your ISP to help resolve any issue.

We would recommend creating a new Roku account in your region. For more information about how to create a new account, visit our Support page here: How do I create a Roku® account? Once your new account is set up, try to perform a factory reset on your device and link it to your new account.
