Disney plus not available

Hi, I’m from Venezuela. My issue is that the channel Disney Plus is not available for me to install, it doesn’t even appears in the channel store. I need help resolving this problem, I want to enjoy my service with my Roku device.

Aditional information, I contacted costumer support and I only received one response via email.

Venezuela is not listed as one of the countries available in Latin America.

Disney+ is currently available in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, the U.K., Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain,  France, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Sweden,Iceland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Denmark, Monaco, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Chile, Peru,  Paraguay, Bolivia, Panama, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Uruguay, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Trinidad ad Tobago, Belize, Haiti, Jamaica, Barbados. Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Vincent & the Grenadines and Suriname.

I'm In Uruguay  listed in the available countries for Disney +  but still it is not  an available channel in Roku ultra.  I think Disney +  has not agreed  yet with roku in some regions for some devices ......

Any update on this? My country (Barbados) is listed and I am not able to add the channel to my roku tv.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community!

Please be advised that any Roku Player or TV can be activated to any Roku account, however, channel availability/access will vary from region to region. Channels that are currently available in any given region are certified for the Roku devices sold in that region.

For more information, you'd want to contact any specific channel/service provider to inquire further about which Roku devices they support their channel (app) on in your current region.

@Jmali26, Barbados is not a country listed by Roku (as far as I know).  It doesn't matter if Disney lists it.

@renojim Thanks for clarifying, I may have misunderstood because I was able to use other roku channels such as Netflix.

If you're not in a country that Roku supports, it can be hard to tell what will or won't work.

It  look like a joke I already use my accaunt on Disney plus or HBO Max in my home in other devices but I want to use one TV for my kids I can not because Roku do not have the channel available for Latin America even if the platform is available and they anounced that is supported by Roku.

As a customer it make me feel stolen, because I information in the web page for both platform ensure that you can run the app and at the end I can not.
