Disney Plus Closed Captions not in sync with audio

I have a Roku 3 and am trying to watch The Mandalorian on Disney+ in German audio with German CC.  I have noticed that either the CC text isn't in sync with the audio or at times misses bits of the audio or displays something entirely different than what the is heard in the audio. I have a 110 Mbps Internet connection and my Roku is connected via ethernet (no wireless).  Anyone else having this issue? Can I fix it?
