Dish blocking local NBC channel

I was told that I could use a Roku to access a non local live streaming NBC channel since Dish blocked my local NBC station. How do I use the Roku to do this?

I'm not sure NBC streams live, you can check it out by going to Streaming Channels, and Search, then type NBC.

If they don't stream live you could check out Locast, which streams local channels but right now only in about 20 markets. Otherwise drop Dish & look if Sling TV or Hulu or Youtube TV paid offers your local NBC and go with them instead.
