Have you tried restarting your Roku device after removing the channel and before adding the channel back again. If yes, this is a good indication that there likely an issue within that specific channel that will need to be addressed with an update from the channel publisher. Channels on Roku are created and maintained by each channel publisher. In this case, you'll want to reach out to that channel publisher directly to share your feedback.
Yes I have tried as you suggested. Its been 6+ months since the Crunchyroll app has been broken. They made an update that specifically broke all versions of Roku. There are over 600 pages of comments about this. No announcements or patches have come from Crunchyroll. It takes several minutes and several reboots of the app to get it launch on the Roku. Again this issue is exclusive to Roku.
