Specific “bad” episode won’t remove from continue watching. Used various options and standard Roku and Epix apps to remove - still there. Goes away when you watch next episode but removing current episode from continue watching brings the “bad” episode back! Weird.
Exactly what channel(s) is this occurring with? If it's only a single channel, you need to contact the provider of that channel. Roku only provides The Roku Channel and Roku Media Player. All other channels are provided by 3rd parties, and they have to fix any problems with their channels.
What is the Roku model number and Roku Software version & build?
