Compatibility of Roku Stick with LG 47LA6200 and Hulu Live

I have an LG 47LA6200. I would like to buy the Roku Stick to use with Hulu Live, not regular Hulu.  We want to cut the cord with DirecTv.  I think my TV's manufacture date was 2013.   Please help!

There shouldn't be any problems, just be sure to power it from a wall outlet and not the tv usb port.
