Cloud DVR Service used by Sling is wasting internet data plan. I choose the New Episodes Only option and because someone, somewhere sticks the word NEW on old episodes, they are re-recorded. Sometimes episodes 8 and 9 years old, or even a current episode l recorded and watched yesterday! This is NOT COOL as most internet providers now charge for going over data plan (they want a piece of the cord-cutting action). So, unless Sling or Cloud wants to pay the overage, you Roku owe it to us cord-cutters to remedy this abuse. This is not right! [personal information removed]
Roku did not create the Sling channel, and does not support it. Sling has total responsibility for the functionality of the channel, and that is who you need to contact for a resolution.
Roku only has two of their own channels: The Roku Channel and Roku Media Player. Roku themselves support those two channels. All other channels are created and supported by 3rd parties.
