Channel Issues & Questions

After a while the movie (Virgin Queen with Bette Davis) stops and says "reloading", finishes reloading, plays for 2 seconds and then says "reloading". Reloada, plays for a couple seconds then says "reloading..." (You get the picture).
I rebooted the router. It played a bit longer and did the same thing.

Today I had the same problem but after it reloaded a few rimes ir conti ued to play.

Is this a problem with Wowway or Classic Reel channel?

Most likely the app ("channel"). Apps that play public domain movies often aren't worth the effort of installing them (they'll either perform poorly, have far too many ads, have poor resolution and/or aspect ratio, or other apps do the same movie better).

Classic Reel is not a public domain movies channel, nor do they have ads. it's a low priced subscription service, the majority of the films have been restored to their proper aspect ratio, resolution is good (but, of course, don't expect high definition), and well worth it.

Yeah I pay like $1.99 a month. Yesterday with a different movie was fine.

My tv recently rebooted and now all the movies on Classic Reel stop and says "loading" then resumes playing. They continue to do this every 3-5 minutes throughout the film. I have tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and it continues to have this problem. Classic Reel is my favorite app so I would really appreciate feedback on this issue.

You and me both! I live in the woods and I am paying HIGH BUCK for 60 Mbps, but the thing is, no matter how fast your internet is, it's traffic on the "information superhighway" that slows Classic Reel down. Since Net Neutrality was quashed, many of us figured there would be more traffic delays because now you'd have pay more to get what you were supposed to get in the first place. I had purchased 20 Mbps, but most of the time I was getting 4 - 6 and that's not enough for HD TV. So I had to buy more Mbps. 

I'm thinking this is the problem, but on Classic Reel's site. NetFlix, as you know, has the most traffic on the web. I'll be they're paying a premium for that. 

Tiny channels like Classic Reel might not be able to afford higher speeds. I'd pay more for that and for subtitles, now that I'm going deaf. I did find a phone number to their support, but **bleep** if I can find it now!

I'm having the same problem.  I subscribed about a week two weeks ago and everything was fine then all of a sudden it keeps loading.  It will play a few minutes, load, play, then sends me a message to check my connection which is always good.  While I love the movie line up on this channel I'm not going to pay for something that drives me nuts.

I'm having the same issue with the loading over and over on some movies. Isn't there anybody we can report this to? I think they need to know since we pay for this WONDERFUL channel! I don't want to discontinue it because it has more classic movies than TCM and even better ones!!
