Channels aren't adding to device

I've recently added 2 channels to my account via the the roku website. I've gone to my device (roku stick), and gone to System> System Update> Check now per the instructions given by Roku to add recently added channels to the device, but it says that my device is up-to date, and the channels haven't been added. Does anyone know what the issue is?

What's the model number of the stick from Settings->System->About?  Not all devices support all channels.
